Whether you just found out about KODA Camp Midwest or you've been coming for years, this check list is a great place to get started and know what's coming up next.
Keep an eye on registration opening for the following summer.
Register your camper when registration opens here.
Apply for scholarships if needed (applications through KODA Camp Midwest close February 15)
Book flights, bus tickets, or arrange carpools if traveling from out-of-state to camp).
Communicate with Karen for airport pick up if your child is flying to camp.
If you registered any time between October 1 and March 31, to qualify for the early bird special, payment must be made in full. Make your full payment here.
If you have not made your payment in full yet, make your payment in full to avoid late fee.
Submit specific food allergy information or dietary needs (not previously submitted in registration) to Karen so the kitchen staff can make sure meal accommodations can be planned early.
Watch out for emails from KODA Camp Midwest about preparing for your camp session (check your spam/junk folder if you haven't received anything)

Prepare your camper for not having a phone during camp.
Communicate any additional medicine changes from registration to Karen.
Ensure you have a full 14-day supply of medications in original pharmacy bottles with matching prescription labels.
Pack for camp using packing list
Label all belongings. Every shirt, towel, shoe, and water bottle (Random things end of getting lost)!
Theme night prep:
Check the camper newsletter for special theme dress-up days (like spirit days, dance nights, or cabin themes) and pack outfits.
Write a letter to your camper to arrive in the first few days of camp!
Read parent handbook or visit the FAQ section for any questions you may have.
