Before KODA Camp starts every year, counselors receive one week of training.

The training will start at noon on the Monday before the teens session arrives (if not before) and ends on Friday at noon.  All counselors will have a free day on the Saturday before the teens arrive.

Training week provides all counselors and CITs with training how to be a counselor.  During training week you will learn how to be prepared for an emergency, learn child/youth development in order to better interact with each age group of KODAs, prepare the camp schedule for the following five weeks and more.

The teen session  will arrive after one pm on the 4th Sunday in June. The camp ends at noon on on the last Friday in July.  All staff will have the Saturday between the teen session ending and youth session starting off. The youth session will arrive after one pm on the first Sunday in July. The youth session ends at noon on the second Friday in July. All staff will have the Saturday between the youth session ending and kids session arriving off.  The kids session will arrive after 9am on the 4th Sunday in July. The kids session ends the last Friday in July. Everyone will be expect to help with cleaning up on Friday afternoon before going home.
