Riley Houlihan, Staff Administrator

Introducing our Staff Administrator, Riley Houlihan! As someone who has been attending and involved in KODA Camp Midwest since 2009, I am extremely grateful to be a part of strengthening the organization. KODA Camp Counselors are essential to creating the magic of camp, from fun activities to keeping campers safe and feeling included. I am excited to continue my role from last year working alongside the director and lead staff members to make Camp Staff a tight-knit team where CODAs can build their leadership and teamwork skills. I hope to help counselors have a rewarding summer working with their peers while creating a memorable experience.

Maris Dishno, Business Manager

Introducing our Business Manager, Maris Dishno! Maris works full time at UW Parkside as the Director of Donor and Alumni Engagement and part time manages the business side of KODA Camp. She holds a Masters degree in Public Service Nonprofit Administration from Marquette University and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Maris has been passionate about helping KODA Camp for years. Previously, she was a board member for KODA Camp and you can catch her taking photos for camp, managing the financial side of camp and helping with project management.

Karen Dishno Voss, Executive Director

Karen Voss is an extremely dedicated director and mother. She has five daughters (all who have attended KODA camp) and is devoted to continually improving KODA camp to be the best of its program.

As a director, Karen supervises the staff, ensures that the camp runs smoothly, communicates with the parents, takes pictures to document the amazing time that campers have, works and coordinates with the campsite staff, and maintain financial information.

In Karen’s spare time she likes to garden, interpret, and research her family’s genealogy. She is deaf and from a deaf family herself.

An interesting fact about Karen is that she has created a family generational book reaching 15 generations back.
