Day of KODA Camp and Casino Night Fundraiser
Home > Financial Assistance > Individual Fundraising Ideas
Fundraising is very important and requires a lot of effort to be successful, but the rewards are worth it. A suggestion is to physically deposit $15-$20 a week into an account specifically for your child’s camp tuition. If you are planning on fundraising start early. The more time you have to plan and ask, the more successful your fundraiser will be.
By far the most popular way to fundraise. Crowdfunding is all about asking your community to support you. You can do this by:
Post on your socials (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok) asking for support
Letters (writing letters to your friends and family for support)
Email Campaign (sending out emails with an easy way to donate for your friends to support)
In Lieu of fundraisers are asking your friends and family to donate to a specific cause rather than giving you a gift. Many times you will see this on Facebook as a birthday fundraiser.

Your creativity!
Your local community can be a great source of support to. Look to see what they might be providing for individuals.
Reach out to your local areas for scholarships: lions clubs, local churches, community foundations
Restaurant partnerships (host an event on a certain night where a certain percentage of the proceeds goes towards the fundraiser).
Sign up for a pizza kit. Sell a certain amount of pizzas and the company will donate a certain amount towards your funds.
Sign up for a college concession stand and work there for several days/nights depending on their schedule and earn a certain percent of their sales. Set up a KODA group in your city and sign up for local concession stands. It required a team of one or two persons to fully commit to attend every game to ensure consistency to work with the lead person. It is worth a try. How about major sport events? It is fun and intense (not to mention for a great cause, your kids)!
