Camp Registration Costs

Camp registration for 2024 opens September. To reserve a spot, parents pay a $200 non refundable retainer fee per child per session. The $200 nonrefundable retainer fee counts towards the total camp fee.

Early bird special between September 2023 and February 28th, 2024 is $1,000 per child, and $900 per sibling. The camp fee must be paid by March 1st. Starting March 1st, the camp registration cost is $1,200 per camper and $1,000 per sibling. One week's kids session cost is $500. Late fee of $10 per day will be added starting June 1st until paid in full. (Early bird pricing must be paid in full by March 1st).

Any cancellations after May 31st are not refundable except in situations such as medical or bereavement with appropriate documentation. In cases of medical or bereavement, the parent will have the option to either receive a full refund or defer payment to the next camp year. Cancellation for any other reason, will result in the loss of funds. Top 5 Reasons Your Child Needs KODA Camp

KODA Camp provides a rich environment full of new friends, monumental achievements and memorable activities. We provide supportive relationships, challenging opportunities, but most importantly, we give all children a level playing field from the start—without the pressures of school or suburban life. Everyone is equal at Camp.

Campers’ parents have reported that when their children return home from camp they are more mature and responsible, and are more equipped to stand up for what they know is right.

Imagine your child choosing an outdoor activity over the cell phone or a video game. At KODA Camp, we focus on the importance of outdoor activities, while learning to live in a group setting. Camp is a place to develop face-to-face relationships and reflect on nature. It’s about kids being kids in a safe, comforting environment without the pressures of technology. Whether it’s a fast-paced game of capture-the-flag or just a  walk to arts & crafts room, our campers enjoy a lot of physical activity they otherwise would not get at home or school! And let’s face it, the more physical activity… the better for everyone!

Identity and understanding deaf culture are two major aspects covered at camp. Our staff comes from a wide variety of background and experiences that help give insight and share all the wonderful parts of being a KODA. From sharing personal experiences in both the hearing and Deaf worlds to learning about multicultural beauty of sign language to diving into the rich history of Deaf culture. No matter what experience or background all KODAs are welcomed and treasured.

Maybe it’s the goofy counselors, camping out under the stars or just hanging out with friends, but there’s something about KODA Camp that goes so deep under the skin that kids, and now adults, reminiscence about upon years later. It’s hard to describe, but it’s a magical place.
